Research Methodology

Research Methodology is an advanced course of the Accelerated   Master of Business Administration Degree program. Students will have the opportunity to explore the meaning of research as it relates to the business world. They will learn about all the different types of business research that can be conducted for a company. Most importantly, they will get to critically analyze the various steps of designing and conducting a research experiment of their own.

The purpose of business research methods is for a company to gather vital information about its industry and all of the economic opportunities and competitors which exist in it. Research Methodology is an ongoing process within an organization. It starts when a company first establishes itself, and it continues as the company grows and expands within its industry.

There are many ways in which a company can research data about its industry. The internet, for instance, is one fast and convenient way of doing so. It allows company leaders and managers to search the internet and gather statistical information they need right from their computers. Other research methods might include running surveys, interviewing clients or customers, hosting focus groups, and going to the library.
