What Will Learn?

In this course, students will build knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of Islamic Insurance (Takaful) and its application in the global marketplace. Students will learn the nature and principles of Islamic insurance within the framework of Sharia law. This course will assist students in better understanding the global landscape of Takaful institutions, products and services. Students will gain the necessary skills needed by professionals to assume important roles in the growing Takaful industry. This is a 4-credit-hour course and is allotted 6 weeks of time.
