What Will You Learn?

Course Overview: This course is part of the   Master Degree Program in Grief Therapy at the School of Grief Education at AITU.

It is a 6-hour semester course that must be completed within 6 weeks.

This course consists mainly of self-exploration by way of visits, readings, viewings, and research.

Course Objectives: The aim is to learn about unexpected and sudden loss, to learn how to recognize signals indicating possible problems in post-death mourn-ing, as well as learning appropriate interventions that can be used to prevent the risk of those problems. To learn about suicide and its influence on its survivors (loved-ones of those who died) and society.
