What Will You Learn?
Course Overview: This course is part of the Doctorate Degree Program in Thanatology at the School of Grief Education at AITU.
It is a 6-hour semester course that must be completed within 6 weeks.
This course may be regarded as a preparation for your dissertation. You will re-search all those instances of legal means that may influence the course of a death that exist, describe them, comment on them on how they may appear in a practice and what you might see as a course of counseling/therapy, or what you see as a director of a career in working with one or more of the subjects you researched.
Course Assignments: There are 7 assignments for which the student has one book and one video as materials provided and will find their own materials.
Course Objectives:
The objective of this course to prepare for your dissertation by experiencing re-search, independent professional thinking, and assume a holistic approach with regards to thanatology. The student will do that by researching the legal means available for people to direct the course of the end-of-their life, as well as major health care situations that they may be confronted with.
