What Will Learn?

This is an advanced course that prepares you to effectively assess students in the classroom using various methods. In this course you will learn how to successfully create assessments that are valid, reliable, and varied. When finished you will have a grasp of the fundamental concepts of creating student assessments in an elementary classroom. This is a 4 credit hour course and is allotted 6 weeks of time.

Education Assessment

Teachers must assess the progress of their students in the classroom regularly. It is the only way for teachers to know whether their students are retaining the information they’ve been taught. Based on the results of the assessments, teachers can alter their lesson plans accordingly.

Education Assessment is an advanced educational course of the Accelerated   Master of Education Degree program at American International Theism University. It will prepare you for the task of assessing other students in the classroom effectively by using various methods and techniques at your disposal.

When you reach the end of the Education Assessment course, you will know how to successfully create assessments that are valid, reliable, and diverse. You will have a clear grasp of the fundamental concepts of creating student assessments in an elementary classroom, so learning can be more effective for your students as time goes on.

Schools and colleges judge teachers according to the academic performance of their students. American International Theism University offers four credits to students who complete the Education Assessment course. Students have six weeks to complete the course, which is taken entirely online. That means you can set your own schedule for when you attend class and complete the work.
