Students taking the Master of Islamic Banking and Finance program have an opportunity to explore the wide aspect of conventional Islamic management of finances. The courses provide advanced knowledge of Islamic economics, insurance takaful, jurisprudential, management and operations. Students will graduate with grounded knowledge in the various Islamic banking and finance disciplines.

  • ISS 501 – Shariah and Islamic Jurisprudence I (6 credit hours)
  • IFN 502 – Advanced Islamic Banking Operations (6 credit hours)
  • ECO 502 – Advanced Islamic Economics (6 credit hours)
  • IFN 510 – Advanced Islamic Banking; Products and Services (6 credit hours)
  • IFN 520 – Islamic Insurance Takaful (6 credit hours)
  • IFN 602 – Advanced Islamic Commercial Law and Contracts I (6 credit hours)
  • IFN 620 – Islamic Risk Management (6 credit hours)
